How we handle personal data across our website, enquiry forms and the systems we build and operate.

Last updated: 29 June 2026

Who we are

BYTE BRILLIANCE LTD (“we”, “us”) is a software and web development company registered in England and Wales, company number 17123142, with a registered office at 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, United Kingdom, EC2A 4NE. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our direct business relationships.

What we collect

  • Contact details you submit through our enquiry or discovery-call forms — such as your name, email, phone number, business name and the message you send us.
  • Information needed to deliver a project to a client — for example project requirements, documents, invoices and portal account details.
  • Basic technical information your browser sends when you visit the site (such as your IP address and device type), used to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange discovery calls.
  • To plan, deliver and support the work we are engaged to do.
  • To manage projects, documents, invoices and secure client portal access.
  • To keep our systems secure and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Legal basis

We process personal data where it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract with you, to meet a legal obligation, or for our legitimate interests in running and securing our business — balanced against your rights.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements — for example our hosting, database and email delivery providers. They may only use the data to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to maintain our business records, and to meet legal or accounting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at admin@bytebrilliance.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Security

We build and operate our systems with responsible security practices. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Healthcare and other regulated data

Where a client engagement involves patient, healthcare or other regulated or sensitive data, specific data-processing terms are agreed separately as part of that contract. Any healthcare-specific privacy and data-processing wording is reviewed and finalised before a system handling such data goes into production use.
